Arrive in Ulgii. Meet your team at the airport and drive to Ulgii town. Get transfed to your Hotel and after few hours meet your guide and visit local open market and museums. During your dinner time you will enjoy Kazakh traditional live folk concert.
ARRIVE IN ULGII
At the morning meet your team at your hotel and head to the west of Ulgii town. Reach Tsagaan gol valley where located the gate of Altai Tavan Bogd national park and many Tivan Nomads.
WHITE RIVER VALLEY
While you will enjoy your breakfast there will arrive local nomadic man with Horses and camels that you will use for the next step of the tour. Camping gears will be packed on the camels and you will start trekking on the horses towards Potaninii glacier. After reaching the area you will have time to walk on the glacier and enjoy the views.
TREKKING TO THE GLACIER SIDE
Today we will do hiking all the way up to Malchin peak which is one of the highest peaks according to sea level. The height is over 4000m. But it is easy reachable and on its top you will enjoy one of the best views of Mongolia.
HIKING UP TO MALCHIN UUL
Today we will back all our gears again and head trekking back to the same gate of Altai Tavan Boigd national park. Visit Tuvan nomadic families.
TREKKING BACK TO TSAGAAN GOL
Drive to Khoton lake area that located south of Altai Tavan Bogd national park. Here you will meet many Kazakh nomads and can compare Kazakh and Tuvan nomadic differences. Visit traditionally decorated Kazakh Ger (yurt). Visit Eagle hunter’s family.
KHOTON LAKE AREA
Do half day hiking to the waterfall located in the valley Baga Turgen. Go through pear rivers, beautiful sceneries and stunning mountains. After you are back from the waterfall your driver will make ready all the staff and will be ready to drive back to Ulgii town. Stay at the hotel.
